Our Facilities
Located in the heart of Matamata, our facility is surrounded by beautiful gardens and enjoys stunning views of the Kaimai Ranges. We offer a range of room options, including singles with private ensuites and shared rooms. We also have a dedicated bathroom equipped with a modern shower bed.
All rooms have direct outdoor access, some of which have been recently refurbished to provide a comfortable and welcoming environment.
For Maternity care, we have 4 postnatal rooms and 2 fully equipped delivery suites, providing a comfortable and supportive setting for mothers and their families.
We also provide an outdoor exercise and rehabilitation area which is free to use by any adult in our community.

DIRECTIONS AND PARKING
Located at 56 Rawhiti Avenue in Matamata, Pohlen Hospital offers free patient parking directly on-site in front of the complex.
First entrance doors - Matamata Medical Centre, Unichem Pharmacy and Pathlab.
Second entrance doors - Outpatient reception and Bay Radiology.
Third entrance doors - Maternity
If you are visiting an inpatient or resident, please use the Weka St visitor's carpark.
